In case you are wondering what we are talking about, a Crafternoon tea is a vintage craft party with lots of tea and cake. Hosted by Crafternoon Tea Hostess, this real hen party will inspire you to plan a low key hen party this summer. The Crafternoon Tea Hostess hosts hen parties at venues around the Midlands. Over to the hostess with the mostess…

Last summer on a lovely July afternoon, I hosted a textile jewellery making hen party at a glampsite near Alton Towers in Staffordshire.
With bags and cases full of vintage buttons, fabrics and haberdashery the hens made bracelets, necklaces and button rings in the sunshine!
I served up a Derbyshire cream tea of yummy home-made scones with clotted cream, jams and speciality teas.
With project cards and professional support each hen could choose how many projects to make in their own colour palette. How bespoke!
The glampsite looked great decorated for a hen party with bunting around the hot tub and yurts. Being miles away from the nearest village it was the perfect location to get away and how your very own party!
The hen party stayed at Secret Cloud House Holidays where groups can hire exclusive use of our luxury yurt site including on site wood fired hot tub, wood fired sauna and ‘Shepherds Rest’ treatment room.
All of the luxury yurts have a log burning stove oven, handmade comfy beds made up with Egyptian cotton bedding and feather down duvets!
Perfect for a hen weekend worth remembering!
