Glamping Hen Parties In The Cotswolds
- Numbers: Their glamping site sleeps up to 22 people. An additional 30 guests can sleep in camping pitches.
- Bell Tents: Big Skies Glamping have three bell tents set in stunning surroundings. Each tent has all you need for a cosy night under the stars including a double bed with a real, comfortable mattress. Surrounded by beautiful meadows and wild flowers, each tent is spaced 15 meters apart to allow for privacy.
- Lodges: Big Skies Glamping also have two beautiful safari lodges. The lodges can sleep up to 5 people each and consist of a double bed in their own room, two single beds in their own room as well as a futon in the sitting area. The most secluded glamping option, the lodges sit in their own little nook on the site.
- What’s Included: Within each tent and lodge, you will find: gas hob, futon chairs, picnic table, camping chairs, one nights supply of logs, all cooking utensils, washing up bowl, oil, salt, pepper and herbs as well as tea, coffee, hot chocolate and marshmallows.
- Facilities: There is a new toilet and shower block available for hens to use with four flushing toilets and four hot showers. There is also a communal area with picnic bench, sink, kettle, toaster, and fridge. In addition, there is a handy honesty shop selling any necessities you may need as well as local treats. Last but not least, there is a phone / iPad charging lockers which costs £5 per stay.
- Parking: There is a secure and private car park which can accommodate a maximum of 12 cars.
Food & Drink and Hen Party Activities In The Cotswolds
- Food & Outside: At the glamping site, there is a pizza oven where you can enjoy a delicious homemade pizza. There is also a firepit for you to sit around in the evening. If you want to go out for breakfast, Dunkertons Cider is a short walk away. They have a wonderful artisan bakery selling delicious coffee and pastries. Elkstone Studios is a short drive away offering a lovely artisan bakery as well.
- Restaurants: Dunkertons Cider is walking distance from the glamping site – enjoy cider tap rooms, farm shop, live music, events and delicious street food. The Green Dragon is a local favourite and is just a 10 minute drive or a 1.5 hour walk. There are many more local pubs and restaurants nearby.
- Hen Activities: Locally there are many activity options including cycling, ropes course, clay pigeon shooting and even Giffords Circus. Found right on the Cotswold Way, there many walks you can enjoy locally as well as visits to quintessential Cotswold villages such as Bourton-on-the-Water, Stow-on-the-Wold, the Slaughters, Cirencester and Bibury. Not forgetting the regency town of Cheltenham, it’s safe to say there’s lots of options when it comes to entertainment.
