Location: The barns are located in the outskirts of Great Totham. Just a pleasant 10 or 15 minute walk to the village shop, traditional and gastro pubs and restaurant. The market town of Maldon with cafes, boutiques, restaurants, pubs and wine bar is less than a 10 minute drive. Located with easy access to coastal and countryside walks or a 20 to 30 minutes drive to Chelmsford and Brentwood for a night out.
Accommodation: Jepcrack’s Barns have four barns perfect for hen parties located in Essex. Found in the Essex countryside, there are four unique and individually designed barns available to rent for hen parties.
Numbers: The accommodation can be rented separately or together for up to 29 guests.
Included: Bedding, linen, bath sheets, hand towels and bath mats are provided. Each barn has a wood burning stove and a large basket of logs is provided in the cooler months. There is central heating in all of the barns.

Choose Your Hen Party House In Essex

The Shire Stables (Sleeps 8 – 11 guests)

About: This is a detached barn with 4 bedroom and 4 bathrooms.
Inside: It has a large open plan lounge with log burner, kitchen and dining area. There is a large double sofa bed in the lounge.
Bedroom 1 downstairs has 2 large single beds & a marble ensuite with jacuzzi bath and separate shower. There is also an additional bathroom downstairs with walk in shower. Upstairs, bedroom 2 has a king size bed and a balcony with table and chairs which overlooks the fields. A large single foldaway bed can be added to this room. There is an ensuite with bath and shower above. Also upstairs is bedroom 3 with king size bed and ensuite with bath and shower above. Leading off this bedroom 4 which is a small room with two cabin style single beds.
Outside there is off road parking. In the garden, there is a private hot tub with lights and wifi, garden furniture and coal BBQ. Hot tub towels and bath robes are provided.

The Hay Barn (Sleeps 7 – 9 guests)

About: This barn is opposite the Shire Stables, across a quiet country road. This barn has an open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area. There is a spacious, open plan dining area, kitchen and lounge. The kitchen has a breakfast bar with stools and is the hub of the barn. The lounge has a wood burning stove with wood supplied in cooler months. There is also a double sofa bed.
Bedrooms: There are two bedrooms downstairs. One has two singe beds and the other has a double bed. Both have shower ensuite bathrooms. The upstairs bedroom is a king and has an ensuite with bath and shower above. They can also add a large single bed in this room.
Outside: Barn doors open to a private patio and garden overlooking fields and it has has lovely garden furniture and a hot tub with lights and wifi. There is off road parking at the front. Hot tub towels and bath robes are provided.

The Barley Barn (Sleeps 7 – 8 guests)

About: This barn is next door to the Hay Barn. It has an open plan dining area, kitchen and lounge with rear doors opening to a patio and garden overlooking fields.
Bedrooms: There are two bedrooms downstairs. There is a small bedroom with single beds and bathroom opposite with a lovely walk-in shower. Bedroom 2 is a large downstairs bedroom with an antique French, super king bed. There is also a small double sofa bed, ideal for one adult or two children. There is a marble ensuite with jacuzzi bath. Upstairs is a bedroom with king size bed and ensuite with bath and shower above. A large single fold away bed can also be set up for an additional guest.
Outside: Garden furniture and coal BBQ.

Useful Information

Stay: Rental for a weekend is from 10am on Friday to 4pm on Sunday or 3pm on Friday to 10. 30am on Monday. Longer stays are required in peak season. Please enquire.

Food & Nights Out:There are numerous restaurants and cafes within a 10 minute drive. If you want a night out, they can even help book a limo or taxi to a club in nearby Chelmsford or Brentwood!
