Real Hen Party: Shooting & Glamping

We’ve been excited to feature this rural hen party with you ever since we discovered it on the blog, ‘Diary of a Bride‘. Organised by ‘Diary of a Bride’ blogger extraordinaire Lucy, this chic countryside hen party included glamping in bell tents, clay pigeon shooting and more. If you are planning a hen party for an outdoorsy bride to be, then this hen do should prove to be the perfect inspiration.

The hens headed to Vale House in Leicestershire for their ‘Glamping Hen Do Weekend’ package. Here the hens stayed in pretty bell tents decorated with strings of delicate fairy lights and soft, cozy beds.

During the day, the hens got suitably dressed for country pursuits in their padded jackets, wellies and flat caps, and headed off clay pigeon shooting.

What is a hen party without games? These ladies played some of our favourite hen party games including the Mr & Mrs Quiz and the Bin Bag Wedding Dress Competition. Our active hens also managed to fit in a photoshoot and pampering session. According to Lucy, having such a jam packed schedule was a “really great way for everyone to get involved and meant there was never a dull moment!”

So do you know an outdoor loving bride to be? Would you be tempted to organise a chic countryside hen party like these ladies? Let us know in the comments below!
