Brighton Hen Party Ideas | A Real Royal Brighton Hen!

Royal Hen Party in Brighton

We love this Brighton hen party! Bride To Be, Beth partied the weekend away with family and friends in the hen party capital.

Beth wanted a hen party fit for a queen and what theme could be better than the Royal Family. Will, Charles and Kate all made an appearance, as well as our favourite royal of all, the Queen.

Over to Beth…

Royal Hen Party Theme Inspiration

I have the fondest memories of my Brighton hen party which I celebrated with twelve of my dearest ladies!

I decided on the Royal Family theme because my second date with my husband was a street party celebrating Will and Kate’s wedding. It was the perfect excuse for a regal dress up. No trashy fancy dress allowed!

Brighton Hen Party: Day One – An Evening In

The weekend started with surprise bottles of Prosecco on the train sent by my amazing husband to be. Needless to say by the time we reached Brighton, we were all a little worse for wear!  We arrived at the house in Brighton and to find the hilarious touches and decorations that my sisters and mum had added to the house.

They included a trashy balloon arch, childhood photos and plenty of cupcakes and fizz!  Next up a beautiful bouquet arrived from my husband to be. He knows how to spoil me!  Bed time arrived at around 9pm as we really had been far too giddy.

Day Two – Enjoying A Brighton Hen Party

The next morning we enjoyed an amazing seaside dip at the iconic Brighton Pier!  Once showered we preened ourselves to royal perfection. A special mention to my hilarious best friend Sarah, who decided to dress up as a corgi.

Brighton Hen Party: Day Two – An Afternoon Tea

We then headed from our seaside house to The Tea Cosy for our first Brighton hen party activity.  The Tea Cosy is a tea room that is quite simply heaven for anyone who loves the royal family!  It is dripping in royal family memorabilia and we took the opportunity to take plenty of photos. It also serves one of the best afternoon teas around.

Brighton Hen Party: Day Two – Cocktails & Cabaret

Next we headed for cocktails in the sunshine at Brighton Rocks Bar.  We later returned back to the house where I was greeted by Ed, our Butler in the Buff. Carnage ensued as he had met his match in us ladies.

We went on to play the Mr and Mrs Quiz that my sisters had organised. My stomach ached from laughing and I certainly saw my mother-in-law in a different light!

The fun didn’t stop there!

Once Ed had fled the premises, we headed over to Proud Cabaret for a three course meal, more bubbles and a burlesque cabaret evening.

Unfortunately we were not allowed to take photos inside for obvious reasons but I can ensure you it was a riot. I would highly recommend it to any Brighton hen parties!

Post show, most of my hens were lagging and retired back to the house for some nibbles and pyjamas.

Unfortunately (or fortunately) I didn’t follow. Myself and a few of my trusty clubbers (my mother included) stayed out until 4am. We stomped the night away to progressive house and techno music at Audio Club right on the seafront.

A perfect ending to my perfect Brighton hen weekend!
