- At the hen party sit everyone down in a room and make the bride to be come to the front of the room.
- Make sure everyone can see or hear the groom’s answers from a TV, laptop or speakers.
- Explain the rules to the bride to be. Make sure she knows that there will be forfeits for incorrect answers!
- Ask the first question to the bride to be and note down her answer.
- Play the recording of the groom to see if she answered the question correctly.

What is it?
The scavenger hunt hen party game works best for hen parties taking place in towns or cities. The hen party splits into teams to track down a list of items. Items can be anything from a selfie with a lookalike of the groom to a piece of man’s clothing. The team that tracks down all the items first wins!

- The groups races to find each item. Groups can decide their own strategy, they may decide to stick together or take individual responsibility for one item.
- Once a group has found all the items on the list they must race back to the prearranged ‘finish line’. We suggest a bar!
- The losing team must buy the winning team a congratulatory drink.

Dress The Bride
What is it?
Still looking for hen party games you love? Don’t worry! We still have lots of ideas. For instance, you can make fancy dress a hen party game! All the hens need to bring an item of fancy dress for the bride to wear. The bride needs to guess which guest brought which item. You can base the fancy dress around a theme or a budget. Warning this is a game for brides that are not easily embarrassed!
What will you need?
- Fancy dress items
- Fancy dress box
How do you play it?
- Before the hen do decide on the outfit’s theme. For example you may want to dress her up as a bride gone wrong. The maid of honour can buy a hideous dress from a charity shop, with all the other hens buying the accessories. You may also want to set a budget for each item.
- At the hen party arrange all the items in a fancy dress box.
- Dress the bride in her outfit one item at a time. Make the bride guess which item was brought by which guest.
- When she is fully dressed the bride can award a small prize to the hen who brought the best fancy dress item.
- Obviously make the bride wear her embarrassing outfit outside for at least part of the hen do!

Toilet Paper Couture
What is it?
Toilet paper couture is one of our all time favourite hen party games. Split your hen party into different teams and nominate a bride for each team. Set the timer and watch your teams race to create the most stylish wedding dress out of toilet paper! A classic hen party game.
What will you need?
- Lots of toilet rolls (around 3 or 4 rolls per team)
- A stopwatch or a phone to use as timer
- Sellotape
- Extras: hen party veils and any extra embellishments that you would like to use for example buttons, brooches etc.
How do you play it?
- Split your hen party into teams of about four or five people.
- Give each team 3 or 4 rolls of toilet paper, sellotape and any other extra decorations.
- Ask each team to nominate one team member as the bride. The real bride to be normally sits this game out as she will pick the winner at the end of the game.
- The real bride to be sets the timer for five minutes or less. The less time the teams have, the funnier the game!
- The teams have to create the best wedding dress they can in the allotted time using only the toilet rolls and decorations.
- When the time is up each team explains to the group their inspiration behind the wedding dress design and why they think they should win.
- The real bride to be then picks a winner! A fun idea is to have a prize for the winners and forfeits for the losers. We like the idea of giving the winners hen party gift bags full of items to help them survive the hen party.

The Hen Party Present Game
What is it?
The present game is the sweetest of all the hen party games that tests how well the bride knows her friends by the gifts that they buy her. Everybody needs to buy a little gift that they think the bride to be will like. As the bride opens the present in front of the hen party she needs to guess which of her friends bought the present. A simple game that the bride will love.
What will you need?
- Each guest must bring a present

- Before the hen party ask each guest to buy the bride a present. It is best to think of a theme for the presents, for example everybody could buy the bride a pair of knickers or a sweet treat. If money is an issue set a budget, £5 per present should work just fine.
- Make sure the guests wrap the presents but don’t include a gift tag!
- Gather everybody into a circle. The maid of honour then needs to pass the presents to the bride one at a time.
- Once the bride has unwrapped the present then she needs to guess who the present is from.
- Don’t forget to think of some forfeits for her if she guesses incorrectly.

Guess The Memory
What is it?
All the hens anonymously share a fond or embarrassing memory of the bride to be. The bride then must guess which memory belongs to which guest. This is a great ice breaker for a large hen party when there are guests who don’t know each other very well or not at all. To make the game extra special, have the hens write down their memories in a memory book or scrap book which can then be given to the bride as a gift.

Pass The Parcel
What is it?
Just like the game you played as a child, pass the parcel is a game of passing a present around and unwrapping a layer when the music stops. This is one of our favourite hen party games.
What will you need?
- Lots of layers of tissue paper. We recommend at least ten layers.
- Presents to put in the layers. We like the idea of filling each layer with a small prize and then a larger prize in the final present. Here are some ideas: frilly knickers, lipstick, chewing gum, party feet, a mini perfume sample. You don’t have to spend a fortune on this to make it fun.
- Music playlist
How do you play it?
- Before you play the game make sure that you have made the perfect parcel to hand around. Start by wrapping your main present. This could be a hen party sash or headband for the bride to be. Place a ribbon on this main present so that you know it is the last final present and is for the bride to be!
- Then wrap each next layer up with another small gift for example a pair of frilly knickers or a mini nail varnish. Carry on wrapping up layers of presents until you have ten layers.
- On the day of the hen party, allocate some time for game playing! Play your best hen party playlist (we expect to hear lots of Beyonce on this!) and then stop the music and let your guests unwrap a layer and get their gift!
