In case you haven’t noticed from the many blog posts we have dedicated to hen party bags, we love them! What’s not to love? They are a great way to go the extra mile and treat your guests to a few treats. And anything personalised gets a big thumbs up from us. This week, we’re showing you how to use stickers to really quickly and easily personalise your hen do bags.

First things first, let’s talk about the DIY supplies you will need in order to personalise your hen do bags.

Before you get carried away, come up with a quick plan and a design for your hen party bags. You don’t want to end up not having enough room to spell out the bride’s name! Use a ruler and lightly mark out lines using a pencil if that helps you keep your letter straight. Remember to rub out these lines once you have finished your design. Otherwise, you can just freestyle it like we did. Are you stuck for ideas? Here’s what you could write…you could include the bride’s name, the guests’ names, the location of the hen party. Or you could just keep it simple and spell out ‘Hen Party’ on each bag.

Carry on sticking your letters onto your hen party bag! As you can see, we decided to add the bride’s name after we spelt out ‘hen party’. We obviously need to heed our own advice next time and come up with a plan before we start our design. Continue sticking your letters until you have achieved your design. Then do it all over again until you have enough hen do bags for all your guests. Alternatively, if your budget is tight, you can just personalise the bride to be’s bag. If this is the case, make sure you go all out and decorate it with your best crafty design!

We used pretty bows to finish off our design. This made our hen do bags feel a little more special. Make sure you think about your bride to be and her tastes when you design your party bags. Our design might be too girly and vintage for your bride to be. If you have a theme for your hen party, make sure your hen do bags match the theme. Think about her favourite colours. If she doesn’t like pink, think about using gold, cream or black party bags. There are so many different party bag designs out there, we’re sure you will find a colour scheme your bride will love. Here are a few online shops you can take a look at if you’re looking for a different colour scheme: Peach Blossom, Wedding In A Teacup, Postbox Party, Ginger Ray and Talking Tables.

Once you are happy with your design, it’s now time to fill each party bag with some treats for your guests.
