At Silver Sixpence in Her Shoe’s baby showers, you work together to make a beautiful patchwork. They bring a selection of fabrics for you to use. These include unisex brights, traditional colours for boys and girls and vintage laces to use. Add a sentimental touch by including an heirloom such as a family christening gown.

Each participant makes a patchwork piece of 9 squares under Silver Sixpence In Her Shoe’s guidance (sewing machines are provided)

Once you have made your individual patchwork pieces, Nicola will take them away with her. She will then finish the piece off for the mum to be as a wonderful gift.
