We stumbled across Drink, Shop & Do during an afternoon of scouring the internet for new and different hen party ideas and aren’t we glad we did! Based in Kings Cross in London, Drink, Shop & Do was started by Kristie Bishop and Coralie Sleap after they left their ‘proper jobs’ to create a space where they could carry out all of their ‘crazy ideas under one roof’. Hen parties are not their specialty, in fact they probably don’t have just one specialty. Seriously this place is amazing. They host so many different activities, we couldn’t possibly name them all here. From Iggy Azealia Dance Classes to Afternoon Tea, from Tea Towel Screen Printing to an evening talking to strangers, Drink, Shop & Do is a cafe, shop and crafty workshop during the day. Come Friday and Saturday night, it’s a nightclub. Can we just move in already?
Let’s get down to it shall we? Drink Shop Do have created a day out especially for all of us hen party planners. It includes an Afternoon Tea followed by some kind of ‘Do’.
Their afternoon tea includes a selection of speciality teas, finger sandwiches on fancy breads, savoury scones with herb butter, fruit scones with clotted cream & jam and splendid miniature cakes. Depending on whether you choose to have your afternoon tea with a bellini or a glass of prosecco, the cost per head varies from £28 to £55. Click here to take a look at the Drink Shop Do Afternoon Tea Packages. How yummy does that look though ^^
After you have chosen your Afternoon Tea Package, it is time to choose your ‘Do’ activity. You are not just limited to the usual one craft option here at Drink Shop Do. Sure you can make garters, hair fascinators and hen party sashes but you can also make vitnage style necklaces, oragami wedding bouquets an even lavender hearts. Here is a list of all of the different Drink Shop Do Hen Party Activities. Prices start at £16 per person and go up to £40 per person.
