Kinky Boots is inspired by true events, Charlie inherits his father’s struggling shoe factory and forms an unlikely partnership with drag queen Lola to produce a line of high heeled boots to save the business. In the process, Charlie and Lola discover that they are not so different after all.

This joyous story of Brit grit to high-heeled hit has been transformed into a hit musical. It was previously a big screen hit in 2005 with Chiwetel Ejiofor as the dazzling Lola.
