If you’re in charge, it’s important you have these timings to hand. You don’t want to be late or miss an activity you’ve planned. Plus, a timeline will help while you’re planning the hen party to make sure you have enough activities planned for the day / weekend!
Every hen do is different – some are more laid back than others. This really depends on what the bride wants and the budget available. So make sure you judge what you plan accordingly!

Make sure you know exactly how to play each game and have the rules clear in your mind. You will need to be able to explain the game to your guests on the day. If you feel the energy lag, have a few extra games prepared just in case. That way, you can keep the momentum with more organised fun!

Give your guests some time off! Yes, we know this sounds counterintuitive for a blog post encouraging you to keep momentum. But if you’re constantly trying to make everyone have fun, you’ll have with the opposite effect.
There’s a lot going on at hen parties and sometimes your guests will need to take a break. It may sound crazily organised but we suggest you plan breaks when you make your schedule. Predicting when your guests may need to take a break will mean you won’t end up planning too many activities. The schedule does not need to be jam packed! It just needs to be balanced.
Here’s an example of scheduling a break for your guests:
You can make your break as long or as short as you want – whatever fits with your plans. During the break, tell you guests they have some time to do their own thing. But remember to let them know the time they need to be ready for the next activity. Put out some drinks, make a pot of tea and let your guests help themselves. Bring a few chick flicks to put on if the weather isn’t too good. Otherwise they can chat amongst themselves and get ready for round two!
