A Real Vintage Hen Party

Helen’s bridesmaids organised a 1920s theme hen party with help from the lovely Nicola from Silver Sixpence In Her Shoe.

Silver Sixpence in Her Shoe host crafty workshops in Manchester where they teach hens how to make vintage inspired fascinators. Using a wide range of gorgeous vintage-inspired materials and embellishments, hens craft beautiful head pieces which are then the perfect accessory for the wedding day!

Bridesmaids Meg and Emma organised Helen’s hen do in Leicestershire but still wanted to craft one of Silver Sixpence In Her Shoe’s gorgeous fascinators. The hens had a great time making their glamorous hen party headpieces at a local country pub. The rest of the weekend was spent enjoying their glamping hen party accommodation where the ladies enjoyed a few glasses of bubbly round the campfire, as well as toasting lots of marshmallows. These hens even managed to fit in a yoga hen party session!
